Naimat lives with her mother at Agwa Gurugu, a remote village in Keffi, Nassarawa State. Her mother is a peasant farmer who is working hard to earn some money so that she will be able to pay for her children’s education. Eventually, Naimat dropped out of school to help her mother out in the farm because her mother alone can only barely produce enough for feeding.

On discovering Naimat, EF gave her scholarship to continue her education from where she had stopped which was JSS 1. Presently she is a science student in SS 2 who is hoping to become a mathematician.
